God gave us a vision.

Nineteen years ago, we went to Zambia on a mission trip. There was something about the country and the incredible love the people had for Jesus that stayed with me. The next year, Amy and I went to Zambia with the kids. For the past nineteen years, we've been asking ourselves, what can we do? We started Compass 360 with the mission to engage, equip, and empower local Zambian communities to break the cycle of generational poverty. In the past few years, your donations have enabled us to…

Seeds of change

Laying the Foundations for Lasting Impact

This campaign aimed to develop the infrastructure of the compound, allowing us to host our camps, operate a kitchen, and create facilities that empowered the people of the Chisunka Chiefdom to help themselves. Additionally, we needed a new building for the hammer mill to maintain production for the community and the farm.

We also needed to drill two boreholes for the site and install a solar pump to address the ongoing electricity challenges caused by load shedding.

Compass 360 Missions was also given 25 hectares (a little over 100 acres) of land to develop educational and tertiary facilities. We worked with the Chiefdom's Development Trust, faith leaders, and the community to identify and prioritize relevant, culturally appropriate projects, alongside HRH Chief Chisunka and the people of Chisunka.

Kids Camps

For several years, we have hosted camps for children in the Chisunka Chiefdom and surrounding areas. Through programs such as Journey to Jesus, Camp Pathway, and Skills Camp, children have opportunities to learn about Christ, grow in their faith, and gain valuable skills that can help shape their futures.

Each camp is designed to meet children where they are, providing encouragement, spiritual guidance, and opportunities to learn and grow. We believe investing in the youth of today can help create a brighter future for generations to come.

Watch the videos linked here to learn more about our camps and the impact they are making in Zambia.

The CAFFE Cup

From 2023 through 2025, we conducted a Compass Athletic Fellowship for Excellence (CAFFE) Cup Tournament each spring at the Chisunka Combined School in the Chisunka Chiefdom. Surrounding schools in the Chiefdom participated in the tournament, which included football and netball.

Farming for the Future

In 2022, you donated $30,000 for a truck for farm transport and a structure on the farmland to house the farm manager, hold the Compass 360 office, process the maize, store the maize after processing, and set up a small-scale carpentry shop to build desks and tables for the local school. We went from having nothing to 40 hectares of land, and built a milling process and a productive farm. SEEDCO, a seed distributor in Zambia, provided agriculture training to 90 local farmers, educating the community and helping local farmers optimize farming practices, grow more food, and sell more maize.

Equipping the Harvest

In 2022, the second phase of the Seed 2 Feed operation was about procesing the maize. Together, we raised over $18,000 for necessary equipment — a maize sheller, dehuller, hammer mill, and borehole, along with equipment transportation.

Seed 2 FEED

Our inaugural project in 2021, we partnered with the Chiefdom's Development Trust and local agricultural experts to work alongside local families through the planting and growing season. Our network (YOU!) donated over $15,000 to provide the seed, and the chiefdom provided the land and tools needed to care for the land from planting to harvest. The seed enabled families to begin breaking the cycle of generational poverty, learn to farm, produce food for their villages, and provide for their families in the Chisunka Chiefdom in Zambia.
